DIY COMMUNICATIONS CHECKLIST
worship guide ANNOUNCEMENT
This is to request a space in the announcements section of the Worship Guide. We usually run it for two or three weeks. Provide a brief description of your event and the important details people need to know (time, date, location, etc.). Please submit your request two weeks in advance. Thank you!
SIGN UP COUNTER RESERVATION
This is to request a space at the Sign Up Counter in the Atrium where people can register for an event or pick up resources. We normally have three spaces that can be reserved for two to three weeks in a row. Please have someone at the counter who can answer questions about your event before first service, in between services, and after second service; it helps us as a church to look like we know what we’re talking about! :)
This is to request a video for a ministry, event, testimony, etc. Please make your request at least two weeks in advance. We will contact you within one week to inform you if this request was approved.
This is to request an update to existing information on the website or add something new. These submissions should be made by a staff member. If you have revisions to the website, please submit these one week in advance. If you have something new you would like to add, please make your request two weeks in advance.
GRAPHIC DESIGN/PRINT MATERIALS
This is a request for help on a graphic for an event, a logo, print materials, banners, etc. We would love to fulfill all the requests of the departments, but there are times that we are not able to fit every request into our workflow. If we are not able to accommodate you, we have a list of graphic designers to whom you can outsource.
Host announcements on Sunday mornings are determined by the Creative Arts Team Leader and the Communications Manager. In an effort to communicate what is important, we try to consider what is the “one big thing” our congregation needs to know for the week. If you have an announcement you would like to be considered as a host announcement, please come talk to one of us.
