On Sunday, May 19, Brian Jennings will be preaching at College Heights on Sunday morning and that evening, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Chapel we will talk extensively about his book, Dancing in No Man’s Land: Moving with Peace and Truth in a Hostile World. This will be followed by a time of Q & A with Brian.

We’d like to think of the sub-title of this Faith and Culture Night as “All of the conversations we tell you not to have on Facebook.”

(If you can’t have them there, where can you?)

And we believe we, the followers of Jesus, must lead out in our culture on what it means to live life in No Man’s Land.

Because that is what Jesus did.

Watch the first message in our sermon series, “No Man’s Land”:

These questions are meant to challenge you in each of our Four Commitments: PRAY, SPEAK, GROW, LOVE. Use these questions to further explore the message.

Pray: Who is God leading you to reach out to that is disagrees with you on a divisive topic? Pray and ask the Lord to reveal to you who this is and to give you strength and courage to reach out to them.

Speak: How can you encourage those around you to get out of their bunkers and step out into No Man's Land? Who do you know that maybe God is calling you to speak out to and challenge their bunker mentality?

Grow: What divisive topics get you the most fired up? How can you grow in your maturity when it comes to pursuing conversations with others about these topics?

Love: How is God calling you to sacrifice non-essentials in order to maintain the unity of the body of Christ?
