Introducing Our New Small Groups Minister—Aaron Wheeler

We're very happy to announce to you today that we've officially hired Aaron Wheeler to lead our Small Groups Ministry here at College Heights!

Aaron Wheeler

Aaron Wheeler

Aaron has spent the last 12 years working for an organization that seeks to build disciple-making communities. His experience partnering with local churches that use small, humble groups to multiply Kingdom work inspired him with the vision to see churches realize the power of unleashing all Christians to make disciples who make disciples.

For the last four years he served in a leadership position overseeing the creation, training, and development of a structure that enables individual teams to realize their evangelism and discipleship goals. He hopes that these experiences, along with his education in leadership, culture, and teaching, will help College Heights build dynamic disciple-making communities through small group programming.

Aaron is originally from the Detroit area. He and his wife, Danielle, met as students at Ozark Christian College. After finishing at OCC, Aaron went on to complete a master’s degree at Wheaton College, and also a PhD from Biola University.

Aaron and Danielle have four children, two boys and two girls, ranging in age from age 10 to 1. His wife is the founder and executive director of Velvet Ashes, a ministry devoted to encouraging kingdom-hearted women across the world.

We're incredibly excited to add Aaron to our staff!
