God's Gift to You: Hope

December 3, 2017

Sy Huffer, Lead Minister, and Dr. Shane Wood, one of our Teaching Ministers, team up to remind us that even in the wandering and waiting of life, hope is found in the most unlikely places.

Use these questions to further explore the topic of the sermon:

Pray: Does it feel like you are in a season of waiting and wondering? Are you taking your worries and anxieties to the Lord in prayer? How can you pause and remember God’s faithfulness this week?

Speak: One of the challenges Shane and Sy made was to talk to someone who is further along in their faith compared to where you are and ask them for their stories of God’s faithfulness. Who are you going to talk to?

Grow: What did you learn about how to study the Bible today? How can you ask questions and make observations when reading God’s word?

Love: Sy and Shane said that “Hope is found in the most unlikely places.” Do you believe this? How does God’s love and care for you become real and trustworthy for you in your current season of life?
