Financial Freedom: Decision

October 22, 2017

Sy Huffer, our Lead Minister, reminds us that in our journey towards freedom in financial stewardship, we have to decide to trust that God our Father knows what we need and has our best in mind.

Use these questions to further explore the topic of the sermon:

Pray: Has money become master over some area of your heart? Pray and ask God to search your heart and reveal to you where you might be succumbing to the empty promises of money.

Speak: Words and deeds are important. How can generosity with your resources amplify your testimony and speaking about the good news of Jesus to others?

Grow: What does it look like for you to invest in your child’s heart in relation to money? How can you intentionally talk about money in accountability with your small group? With your spouse?

Love: Do you trust that our Heavenly Father knows what is best for you and loves you? Loving God is obeying his commands. How can you take a step of submission to God’s will when it comes to your finances?
